From March through November and again during the holidays, Zion Canyon implements a mandatory shuttle system. Visitors to Zion Canyon must embark on the Zion Shuttle in order to traverse Zion Scenic Drive. No personal vehicles are permitted during shuttle season. These shuttles are free to all visitors. To learn more about the shuttle system,
visit the park’s website here: https://www.nps.gov/zion/planyourvisit/zion-canyon-shuttle-system.htm
This shuttle is only required for Zion Canyon and not East Zion, Kolob Canyons and Kolob Terrace.
If you are taking the tour, the audio will work on the shuttle! Just put on some headphones and listen to interesting stories as you go.
